Submariner: brand new version

Rolex introduced the new generation of its Oyster Perpetual Submariner and Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date linking Rolex and the world of diving. Both timepieces now feature a redesigned, slightly larger 41 mm case and a remodelled bracelet.

Both versions of Submariner have time and date function, and are equipped with movements at the forefront of watchmaking technology – the Submariner has calibre 3230, unveiled by the brand this year, and the Submariner Date has calibre 3235.

Redesigned Submariner watches in Oystersteel has a black dial and rotatable bezel with matching Cerachrom insert. Aesthetic heritage is a key, technical heritage and innovation is a must.

Oystersteel is a material specific to the brand from 1985*. It belongs to the 904L steel family commonly used in the aerospace and chemical industries. Particularly resistant to corrosion, it acquires an exceptional sheen when polished. A yellow version Rolesor of the Submariner Date presents a royal blue dial with a rotatable bezel and a blue Cerachrom insert. It combines Oystersteel and 18 ct yellow gold. Like all Rolex watches, the Oyster Perpetual Submariner and Submariner Date carry the Superlative Chronometer certification.

The dial and Cerachrom insert go in different hues: in the first watch black dial paired with a green bezel, while the second proposes black and blue combination.
