Franck Muller's Vanguard Ram Lalla: A Fusion of Craftsmanship and Culture

Franck Muller’s latest creation, the Vanguard Ram Lalla, is a testament to the brand’s ability to intertwine haute horlogerie with cultural narratives. Inspired by Ram Lalla, the childhood form of Lord Ram, this limited-edition timepiece brings spiritual symbolism to the bold architecture of the Vanguard collection. Crafted in partnership with Kapoor Watch Co., a cornerstone of India’s luxury watch market since 1967, the piece is as much a cultural artifact as it is a testament to Swiss craftsmanship.

At the heart of the design lies an intricate Ram Lalla appliqué, meticulously crafted through a laser-machining process that demands over 30 hours per piece. Each appliqué is polished, finished, and hand-applied with precision, resulting in a dial that exudes depth and presence. The timepiece is available in both 18-carat rose gold and stainless steel, with only 108 individually numbered pieces produced.

The launch event in India, graced by acclaimed sitarist Rishab Rikiram Sharma, underscored the cultural significance of this collaboration. It was a celebration of artistry, heritage, and the enduring allure of fine watchmaking.
