Dubai Design Week 2026: Redefining Connection Through Design

Dubai Design Week returns to the Dubai Design District (d3) from 3 to 8 November 2026, marking its 12th edition as the Middle East’s premier design festival. Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event will bring together designers, architects, and creative practitioners from across the globe to explore the transformative power of design in fostering human connection.

This year’s theme focuses on how design can strengthen relationships in an era where technology and societal shifts are reshaping the ways we interact, work, and communicate. Highlights include the winning Urban Commission, ‘Three Gardens and a Room’ by Dubai-based NAO Architects, which examines how spaces influence emotions and social dynamics. The festival also features immersive installations, exhibitions, and workshops, alongside Downtown Design, the region’s foremost fair for contemporary and high-quality design.

With over 30 talks by leading creatives, including keynote speaker Tristan Auer, and activations by global brands like Pinterest and M Moser, Dubai Design Week 2026 promises to be a thought-provoking showcase of innovation and craftsmanship. The event underscores Dubai’s growing influence as a hub for design and cultural exchange, offering a platform for both regional talent and international collaboration.
