The two grand hotel chains delivered the good news in two days. Yesterday, Waldorf Astoria announced the opening of its hotels and resorts in Dana Point, California. And today, Hyatt Hotels Corporation informed press about the opening of the two hotels in Paris Charles De Gaulle area.

The Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort&Club has 400 rooms and qualify as AAA five-diamond hotel. The AAA Five Diamond Award is the highest level evaluation actual for the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. So the place should be very luxurious and hospitable. The resort is located along the coast of Dana Point, 60 miles (around 100 km) south of Los Angeles. Among the highlights of the resort are the full marble baths, technical devices easy to synchronise with, two infinity-view Jacuzzis and the huge Monarch Pool, Monarch Beach Resort tram ride, oceanfront 18-hole golf course, 24 treatment rooms of spa, Deborah Lippmann nail studio and Drybar salon, 7 gourmet points, including Bourbon Steak Orange County of American chef Michael Mina. Also, the resort offers areas for atmospheric outdoor and technologically-equipped indoor events.

Comparing to the American lavishness of Waldorf Astoria Resort, Hyatt's hotels in France have a very modest presentation. A prime location of Charle De Gaulle is the key. Hyatt Palace is specialised in upscale guest rooms, with a wellness zone and 24/7 food servings, and Hyatt House offers apartment-style suites with fully equipped kitchens. Anyway, both hotels serve breakfast, share Zoom restaurant and Zoom Bar & Lounge, 24-hour workout room, indoor pool, event spaces and gathering rooms for meetings, and free shuttle service to Paris Charle De Gaulle airport and Villepinte exhibition center; and yes, animal lovers, pet-friendly policy welcoming dogs and cats.
